My Service was great. free Wi fi definitely a plus. Had brunch while I waited, ladies were pleasant as well. One of the employees (car salesman) noticed that I was eating with no drink and brought me a bottle of water with a crystal light powder mixed in it. The little things your people do is much appreciated, and that is what has kept me returning for the service. I had to wait the almost three hours while my car was being serviced, but your staff made the wait bearable.

We have been using Heartland for service of our Toyota vehicles for over ten years and noticed a definite turn around to positive customer service. Recently we had a front wheel brake service done on my 2005 Tacoma, checked prices at a large tire store chain and Heartland beat the price, hands down.

I brought it in to have the AC filled and serviced(since it has never been filled) and to find out about a ping in the engine and a high idle when cold. You all performed a check and found nothing wrong(Whew!) What a relief. Thank You Scott Moritz for being my go to guy.
I made an appointment with Heartland Toyota to have my Rav4 serviced because of the high ratings and good reviews from Checkbook Magazine. I was not disappointed. The minute I walked in I was greeted by Rick Wessel who was very friendly and efficient. He made the whole process of getting my car serviced very easy. My car runs great and I will continue to use Heartland Toyota for all my vehicle needs.
Rick Wessel approached my husband & I with a very friendly greeting when we arrived for our appointment. I explained that we were 20 minutes early & he said it wasn't a problem & he would take care of us. I voiced a concern about a "musty" smell that seemed to be coming from the air conditioning system. He explained that it could be the cabin air filter. He said that he would have the tech check it out & if it needed replacing, the cost would be $57.99 + Tax. I also told him that last September, when I came in for an oil change, new wiper blades hadn't been replaced. He noted these two issues & said it would be approximately 1.5 hours to complete the service & wash the car. As explained, the filter did need replacement & the bill was EXACTLY as quoted. Dealers sometimes get a bad rap for charges above & beyond what was expected, so I really appreciated that his quote was so accurate. When I purchased my Prius, I purchased twelve prepaid oil changes, so only had to pay for the filter. The entire time, Rick was extremely pleasant & personable. He explained that the "musty" smell could be caused by other things so to be aware. I truly appreciate employees such as Rick that are so good @ dealing w/the public. It's tough to please everyone, but I definitely got the impression that Rick does his best to do so. Everyone @ Heartland Toyota is extremely friendly & courteous & keeps me coming back.

I can't tell you how fabulous Scott Moritz made this experience. He was able to explain in ways easy to understand, the various systems that required work. Shawn Magill was awesome! I could not have asked for an easier buying experience. I was looking for a Camry SE, knew what I could pay, and what my 2009 Camry LE was basically worth. Between Shawn Magill, Chuck Scott and Jamie Brown, I believe they went above and beyond to put me in a new 2013 Camry SE that was more car than I thought I could afford, with the options I didn't think I'd be able to have. We did the basic information, got the credit check out of the way, went out and looked at the cars, and found one I just loved. The Cosmic Grey Mica is an absolute stunning color, particularly in full sunlight. I was very pleased to have the Nav system and sunroof, although my phone would have covered the nav duties. The sunroof was just a nice addition. Pricing came in within $5 of what I was paying on the 2009 per month, for a shorter period of time. I couldn't afford the original monthly payment, but between the Costco pricing, and Chuck working the numbers, they made the car affordable. I realize that the dealer is out to make a profit on the vehicles they sell, but I didn't get any of this 'let me go talk to my manager and see if I can work out a better price.' I told Shawn I couldn't do the pricing, and that I would be willing to get the lower priced model, but I still ended up with the car I really did want. I thank both Chuck and Shawn for that. I would be more than willing to recommend Heartland Toyota to anyone in Kitsap County who is even thinking about buying a Toyota, or a competitor's brand. I think the cars are worth it, and I'm extremely pleased with the sales staff, and the attitude. By the way, Shawn spent almost 30 minutes with me after we transferred my stuff from the old car to the new one, going over the systems in the car, answering my questions, and bringing me up to speed on the technology in the car. I've never had any car dealer do that for me before, but the tech that Toyota is putting into the vehicles today almost demands it. It was nice. I went back the next morning to drop off a key, and I had to ask a question about something, and Shawn gave me another 20 minutes of his time in answering the questions. At no time did I get the feeling of 'Oh, I've already sold you the car, I don't have to spend time with you.' Oh, the other thing, I walked in this morning, and the receptionist, who I hadn't even talked to last night, called me by name. That's customer service. That's why I'll continue doing business with Heartland Toyota.

I came for an oil change. But, I had two recalls that needed to be address. Originally Brent Baird figured 4 hours. But, after one hour Brent Baird informed me that, because the recall required changing out some parts that it could go on longer than planned. So, he made arrangements for me to use a rental car for the day, and that he would call me when the car was ready, which he did. In the end, I only paid for my oil change and the gas to top off the rental when I returned it. It was worth it because I had many things to take care of that day besides the oil change. Brent has assisted me before. He is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He is an asset to the Bremerton service office. Brent Baird and the other staff members who have helped me in the past are wonderful. Its a good team there, in front and back.

After looking for a car for three months and dealing with 3 other dealers that did the traditional "game play", we gave Heartland a try. We visited the website which gave us a wealth of information. I called Steve to confirm what the site said. He confirmed everything, held the car for me and was very professional. From test drive to delivery was less than 2 hours. None of the traditional pressures or games. Steve walked us through our purchase, set up navigation and made sure we were hapy. We drove all the way from Sumner and it was well worth the time. My wife and I felt like we were treated well, got a great deal and walked away very impressed. Best in class. I know when I need to purchase my next car, I am crossing the bridge and heading to Heartland.

Brent Baird did a great job getting my vehicle through servicing. He gave me the estimate upfront and explained what was going to be done. When additional items were found that needed attention, he promptly found us, explained the items and the severity of them and costs associated, and asked whether we desired to get them fixed this visit. We had been shopping for a car for 3 months. Visiting numerous websites, 4 dealers, and doing consumer reviews. Every dealership either had a website that was difficult to navigate with no information or flat our lied to us to get us into the showroom. We had two times we spent 5 hours at a dealer working through the "talk to my manager" game. Our experience with Heartland was quick, simple, and easy. I called Steve at 10:45, he confirmed all the information on the website, we test drove and took delivery within 2 hours total. No games, just a great deal. The drive from Sumner was worth it. Best experience ever with a dealership.

I have voluntarily and critically surveyed previous visits over the years since 2004 and I have noticed that the Service Department continues to improve in customer relations. There also seems to be less turnover of the staff - another positive indicator. This experience was the best to date and as much as one might hope for. Scott Moritz met me to record license and mileage as I emerged from my car. He was very knowledgeable. honest, and thorough. Once inside he reviewed the reason for my appointment and my car's previous maintenance history for recommendations for follow up checks. When he noted a previous leaking water pump comment, he described what one might look for and escorted me back out to pop the hood to investigate any obvious signs that the problem still existed. He then ensured the technicians/mechanics accomplished a more thorough assessment along with the recall and limited fluids change/top-off. Scott came by to advise me of findings and progress of the work being performed; his recommendations were conservative yet safe. He noted that the wiper blades were beginning to streak the windows and quoted me the cost of having them replaced. At first, I declined since that is something I have always accomplished myself and the labor expense seemed excessive for what amounted to a routine 5-minute task. But I also felt that the rest of my experience that morning for a 2-hour free recall service had been so excellent, that could afford the wiper replacements. Scott's desk is closest to the Scion in the showroom toward customer parking where I met my wife. When we asked about it, Scott answered every question completely and he elaborated on several issues regarding the car, the Scion line and pricing philosophy, and his experience driving that particular model. Later, when I asked about detailing our car after 7 years of unprotected storage, he arranged for a more thorough car wash which he suggested might help us to get a lower bid at the detail facility elsewhere in the Auto Group complex. We did get a fair price bid as we departed. Finally, while waiting for the estimated 2 hours to accomplish the work, I noticed that the entire staff appeared and behaved professionally; they were friendly and courteous to each other and the customers, and the faciulities were clean, neat, and quiet. Throughout, Scott Moritz represented himself and Heartland Toyota as if he were a vested owner in the company. It was so positive an experience, that I have not thought until this review about the nearly two hours of driving time and two hours in the customer lounge I was expecting to "endure" for this recall service when I was driving in. Your repair guys are the best. Smart, knowledgable, efficient and take great care with my car. But, it all starts with the Service Writer, Scott Moritz. I don't know what I would do without him. He is my go to guy. I'm sure all your Service Writers do a great job, but Scott is the one I want to deal with. He is always pleasant, cheerfull, and greets you with smile. He treats you with respect and I never feel like I'm being talked down to. He listens to what I have to say about the problems I'm having with the car he ask's all the right questions and between the two of us comes up with a solution. The charges were more because the service folks found things to improve and correct while they were attending to my car's 90K checkup. I appreciated being told and okayed all additional charges. I think Aaron Smith was the name of my service rep. He listened well to my questions, answered them, did not rush me. I appreciated this. He also made arrangements for me to be shuttled to the mall and for the return at the same time. This last thing made it possible for me to be picked up in a timely manner, rather than subject to the vagaries of later, last-minute scheduling and a flurry of add-ons by others. Since my car was ready after five p.m. (thank you, extended service hours), this was quite helpful.

My service advisor, Ricky Saly was very helpful and polite, and offered to make my next appointment. I did not do so, since I drive my car less frequently than many drivers.
The service I recevied from Heartland exceeded my expectations. The only reason the service wasn't completed on time was because the part was shipped from San Francisco and not Portland as orginally thought. We had been having brake problems for over 6 months and everybody (including Titus-Will Toyota) kept telling us everything looked good. The brakes however started locking up over the past weekend and we took it to Les Schwaab who finally agreed something was wrong but said they couldn't fix it and needed to take it to a dealer. We took it to Titus-Will Toyota (for convenience of travel) and they said the brake fluid was contaminated but refused to flush the system, we took it to Walt's who said that it iwas not the brake fluid and that it appeared we were having speed sensor problems and needed to take it to a dealer asap! We called Heartland and your service department squeezed us in on the same day, diaganosed the problem and then fixed it. Your guys did a great job!! From now on our vehicle service needs will be made by your crews!!

He knew about the Prius V and, if he didn't know the answer to my questions, he sought information from others, so all of my questions were answered. Joe (at the desk) was accommodating and skillful in locating the exact vehicle I wanted in a timely manner. Christy, in finance, was very conscientious and explained things clearly. I just came in to get keys made... there were a couple of recall items that needed to be addressed and Rick said they could do them too. He said it would take a couple of hours. He came in to show me two filters that needed changing and suggested that I change the PCV valve also. It took a little longer than two hours but it worked out fine as I did not have to make a second trip. You have a very nice facility and your people are great! Thank you!

When I got there they were going to do regular mantainence, but found out that other work had to be done. It was going to take two or three hours and it was close to lunch time I suggested that Aaron Smith take me out to lunch, but he suggested that I take a shuttle to my favirote resturant which I did. The driver showed up right away, he was very polite and helpful (I walk with difficulty). He drove me to Olive Garden in Silverdale. He was a careful driver, I felt safe with his driving. (A coupon is not necessary, but is thoughtful.) The work is completed in a timely manner and if there are any questions, the staff does not hesitate to track us down. I've been dealing with Mike Maier exclusively for the last several years and couldn't be happier.
I'm always able to get a service appointment to suit my schedule. Every time I have one of my cars serviced the work is done when promised, at the price quoted and I have never needed to return for the same work.
I don't know how this could be any better. Oh, maybe they could do it for free. That would be better but then they probably wouldn't be around much longer.
We have put off buying a car because we always felt pressured, but at Heartland Toyota we felt like everyone cared about us.

I have serviced all my Toyota's with Heartland Toyota Service Department for almost 20 years; and this is not the 1st letter I have written in support.
On my last service visit Richard Wessel looked at the computer screen for a moment and knew more about my 1995 T100 than I did. He recommended just the right service to insure my forthcoming off-road trip to the desert would be worry free. When I brought up additional service concerns, he quickly pointed out that these had been handled in past appointments and were not necessary at this time.
Richard ensured the mechanic looked at remote sounds and discrepancy that even I had a hard time describing. But most important to me; I know that things are repaired properly. I don't need problems when I'm 30 miles out in the desert.
I own three Toyota's and wouldn't go anywhere else.
I've been getting both my Toyotas serviced at Heartland since late 2002. I have never had a negative experience. All of the service reps I have dealt with in this time have been open, honest and friendly.
I've been dealing with Mike Maier exclusively for the last several years and couldn't be happier. I'm always able to get a service appointment to suit my schedule.
Every time I have one of my cars serviced the work is done when promised, at the price quoted and I have never needed to return for the same work.
I don't know how this could be any better. Oh, maybe they could do it for free. That would be better but then they probably wouldn't be around much longer.
We Have just recently purchased a new Toyota Tacoma, and took delivery yesterday. My salesman was Michael Santander.
From the very start of Business/negotiations, until the very end, Mike was professional, friendly and knew his Job very well. He answered all questions and kept me informed of the delivery due date. When I picked up the truck, he had it show room clean, and shining like a silver dollar. I would be pleased to have Mike for my salesman for any future purchases.

I bought my 2002 RAV4 from Heartland Toyota more than 10 years ago. The sales experience was great and the service since the sale has been consistently outstanding. I just had my first routine service following major work done in December and service associate Ricky Saly had me in and out within an hour.
Technicians saw some extra work that have to be done. Terry look for me and was very informative on what has to be done.
Although I said no for now, he was not pressuring about it. I finally got approval from my wife and Terry got me on a schedule right away. Since work involved keeping my car for almost a day, Terry was able to get me a loner the same time he was arranging for my next appointment.
I like going to this dealership, the operations is being ran smoothly and respectfully with surely customer service and happiness as a priority.
I was very impressed with the level of knowledge my service writer had! He was to date the best I have had. I will be coming to Brent Baird for all my car needs. The customer service at Heartland Toyota by far can not be beat!

My wife and I were on our way out the door to go enjoy our 20th anniversary together when I heard a slight hissing noise from the right rear tire. We stopped in at Heartland Toyota and I told the Service Representative Alex what the situation was and how we were hoping to catch the ferry to Seattle that was departing in one hour.
She told us that the process to repair the tire usually takes an hour, but she would do her best to try to get it done in time.
Sure enough, within 40 minutes, the tire was repaired and we made our ferry. Once again we have been blessed with phenomenal service by Alex and the rest of the Service/Parts team at Heartland.
Oh yeah, their cafe and its people that staff are awesome as well.
I won't buy or service my Toyotas anywhere else.
Alex Black my service rep took care of me and I would return to her. She handled her job quite well. For that matter, All the reps are good. The service department buys you a latte' while you wait for your car. They even have online access.

We have purchased a car before but never got the care we did like what we had from Heartland Toyota Scion in Bremerton Washington.
We did not have the best credit history going in so getting a car we wanted was shakey. But working with our finance manager, Jim Vamvas, it was made possible. He went out of his way to talk with individual financial institutions to give us a chance to get a new car and it was not just any car... It was a car we absolutely love.
Along with our dealer they got us in and out in a heartbeat with a new car. He even waited for my husband and I to get off work to fill out our paper work even though his shift was already over. That is what I call good customer service and a loyal financing manager.

Heartland Toyota has serviced repairs on my 2004 Prius several times.
Each time, assistant service manager Alex Black had previously read through my service request and had a few final questions.
The repairs were made and no surprises were found. My car was returned repaired, within specified time and specified cost. During my wait, I continued to work with my employer through their WiFi at the coffee bar. Then I was sent on my way after my car received a free carwash.
Great service completed when promised.
Friendly and great place to relax while your vehicle is being service.

This was my 2nd service experience with Heartland Toyota since moving to Kitsap from NJ.
Scott was thorough, professional and personable in taking care of my 4wd Highlander's periodic service. He pointed out something I had suspected: the tires are close to needing replacement; he also identified something for immediate attention -- replacing the wiper blades.
He helped me determine what would be the most appropriate replacement tire -- based on independent evaluations, and I will take care of that at Heartland Toyota before my next trip.
Shawn Magill is the best customer service care representative that we have ever worked with while purchasing vehicles..
I don't view Shawn as your "typical car salesman" I view Shawn as a caring customer services representative who is not only loyal to Toyota but also to his customers. Shawn's product knowledge is very thorough and this is very beneficial to the consumers.
I purchased a Toyota Highlander Hybrid and my husband purchased a Camry Hybrid XLE. We love both these vehicles and are very happy with them. We purchased these vehicles with confidence due to Shawn's honesty and integretiy! Shawn was very prompt in responding to my texts. We had to spend little time at the Dealership. We recently had reason to take our Avalon to Heartland Toyota for a service and checkup. We were helped by Terry Burkhalter.
We knew we had to wait from 2-3 hours for the work to be done. He kept us up to date on what was going on and told us of what other work needed to be done at that time as well as in the near future.
He seemed to be very straight-forward with us and very respectful and we didn't feel he was out to sell us on any unnecessary repairs which we most appreciated.

We took 2 of our 3 cars, all 3 purchased from Heartland, in for service on a busy Saturday. One great thing about Heartland Toyota is that you are greeted by friendly, smiling people, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and that you and your business is important to them.
Terry Bulkhalter was great about reentering some of our personal data, so it read the way we wanted. He then took in the info on the service needs and asked if we wanted the free car wash and vacuum...always a great thing to have done in this area.
Our service was done sooner than expected and Terry proceeded to tell us about an issue with our snow tires on our Camry and what to do next time they are put on to correct the problem. This was greatly appreciated!
Our second vehicle was a used Honda Ridgeline, oil changed, tires rotated, burned out bulb replaced, washed and vacuumed all within the hour time. I needed to have some weather stripping replaced on the driver’s door and Terry helped us get that ordered and scheduled a service appt to have it done. I have always felt like my questions and requests have been listened to and handled with respect. This is a nice bonus for a woman. :)

In 2005 I bought a New Toyota Tundra Sr5 Crew Cab from your salesman Mr. James Alameda. He made the New car buying experience fun and enjoyable with his product knowledge and expertise. I recently returned and sought out Mr. Alameda to get information on the new 09 RAV4, 09 Sienna, and the 2010 Tundra. Mr. Alameda was there for us again. He had all of the information I required and this is not a easy undertaking, as I do require a extraordinary amount of information and knowledge before I make a new vehicle purchase. Once again Mr. Alameda had what I required so I purchased a NEW Rav4, Sienna, and Tundra "Rock Warrior" from him at your dealership. As I'm sure you know Mr. Alameda is a valuable asset to your company with his expert people skills and product knowledge. He is NOT just a "car salesman". I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our experience with your Toyota dealership and our new Toyota Sienna. You and your team went out of your way to accommodate our needs, not that of your own. We came in during our "research" period to see and test drive the Sienna in order to compare against the competition. We had no intent of purchasing that day and your team did not once ask or even mention the subject of when we planned to buy. We spent another month deliberating all of our research, ultimately settling on the Sienna.
We specified a configuration that we wanted, which you did not have. You searched the local area and there were none to be found. The thought of "settling" for something less or different was never mentioned. Instead you went out of your way, finding one on a railhead, on the other side of the country, and had that one, which met our specifications perfectly, re-routed to your dealership. Even upon receiving it several weeks later, due to my travel requirements, we were not able to take delivery of it. Your team washed it and kept it in doors, fueled up, waiting for my arrival. This took 2 additional weeks to coordinate. Never once was I rushed or pressured. You even picked me up at the airport to facilitate a surprise for my wife. And now we have the perfect car.
You and your team were patient and exceeded every expectation of ours. We in no way experienced what is commonly a drudgery, that of the "car dealership experience". Ours was a pleasant one. I would recommend your dealership to anyone without reservation.

We solicited email bids on the 2008 Prius, and got four pretty close to the Edmunds TMV. Heartland happens to be closest to us. I called Friday and talked to Susan Lake. I told her what we wanted and what we wanted to pay for it (lowest bid). She called me back within 15 minutes, agreed to the price and said they didn't have one but had located one and would do a dealer trade with a $500 deposit. We went in Saturday to pay the deposit. We went in armed with printouts of our quotes and a printout of exactly what we wanted. We also went ready to argue price and resist sales pressure to buy more than we wanted before it went down on paper. Matt Heinrich and Mike Santanders took care of us. They are both pleasant, relaxed gentlemen, a pleasure to talk to. We had nothing to fight about or resist. It was kind of a let down! They did not try to sell us more than we wanted. The price agreed to on the phone was set. The only stumbling block was that the car Susan found had been sold. They hunted down another one and dispatched a drive to get it while we were there. We picked it up today. It's lovely! Mike took us through the orientation to make sure we were comfortable operating it and Matt and Mike waved us goodbye as we drove off in our new car. We are very, very happy.

I read about the hybrid in an article, decided that was what I wanted and went over and bought it. Everyone treated me like royalty. Mel, Shane and the finance person was a delight! They explained the features to me. I will use the service department. On the 30th I will be going in to have the vehicle undercoated and I will look at buying mats for bad weather.
I am 56 years old, and prior to April of this year I have owned only autos manufactured by GM, Ford or Chrysler. Because of my interest in the environment, I began researching alternative fuel vehicles about a year ago. In my research, I found consistent evidence that Toyota led the way in automotive green energy technology. I discussed my findings with a trusted friend, Bob Villa, who is a sales associate at Heartland Toyota in my home town of Bremerton, Washington. Bob confirmed my belief that Toyota hybrid vehicles were miles ahead of the competition. So when Bob called one day to let me know that he had an extra Prius on the lot, I asked him to let my wife test drive it. She liked it immediately, and she called to say we should buy it. The car has been everything we hoped for and more. Bob did us a favor and we appreciate his professionalism during the sales process.
The rest of the Heartland Toyota team really compliments one another. At the new owner presentation night, where we heard from the General Manager, Service Manager, Parts Manager, and from an outstanding senior Service Technician, we learned that the people at Heartland Toyota are as fine as the products they offer. I am elated to report that Toyota service after the sale exceeded my expectations in an extraordinary way. My first service appointment for a routine oil change resulted in the discovery of a maintenance issue with the passenger airbag system. Service Consultant Ed Guerrero and Service Manager Rick Villa bent over backwards to help me fully understand this problem. Ed Guerrero truly cares about people and I value him as my trusted friend and advisor when it comes to repair and maintenance of my new automobile.

I would like to take a moment to thank the people at Heartland for making my recent Avalon purchase a very pleasant experience. I normally dread going into an auto dealership. Feeling outgunned and outclassed, I usually walk out the door feeling I've gone several rounds with a professional boxer. In contrast, everyone at Heartland was courteous and helpful, providing me with the information I needed without resorting to any form of hard sell. I'd like to specifically thank Tom Diefendorf for taking the time to show me on his computer the ins and outs of factory ordering the specific vehicle I wanted. Finally, I'd like to thank James Alameda. He's a heck of a salesman! James has a unique personality. His ability to read the customer is definitely an asset to Heartland. I had done a lot of research before coming to Heartland, so when I presented James with what I felt was a reasonable offer for both sides, he took about five minutes to review the numbers, came back and said "I think I can do that." It was a done deal. Never once did he try to bump me up, down, or sideways or try to move me in any other direction. His only concern was to provide me with exactly the vehicle I wanted. The car I wanted had to be factory ordered, but was well worth the wait. One of the best things I can say about James is that he made me laugh. Never before have I worked with an auto salesman who developed such a relaxed atmosphere. This served to relieve much of the stress and tension normally associated with a vehicle purchase.
